Me: "Oh, just look on the bright side of things! There's always a bright side!"
Who am I? Flipping Pollyanna? Why don't I just belt out The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow while I'm at it?!
What a load of crap.
Just kidding. Kind of.
Cowboys lost. They played horribly. Not having our two O-line guys really hurt; too many holding penalties; inability to score once in the red zone; costly fumble; costly missed field goal...the list goes on. Shame.
As I said in my last post, I have a bright side to the loss. Swallowing my pride here. Just give me a second. Hold on. Ahem. Must clear my throat. Slight gag. Bright side: At least my NASCAR driver is happy, which will hopefully carry forward to the week ahead.
There we go. Done and dusted. Moving on...
You're so very brave... lol.
ReplyDeleteAren't I though? lol
ReplyDeleteWow, Rebekah from Dusting Myself Of was so right to give you that award. You're fantastically entertaining. lol. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, that sucked that Cowboys lost. (I personally like the Steelers, Cowboys, Jets and Saints...I know, random. Er...my sports are really basketball and baseball.)
Jen--Thank you so much for your kind words. :) It really was an awful loss--completely inexcusable. I'm still irked over that dang loss. lol Who are your basketball and baseball teams?
ReplyDeleteSomeone I work with is a fan of the Cowboys and was not a happy camper on Monday. :X Eeep!
ReplyDeleteWell let's see. I'm a huge Yankees fan (grew up on them. I have to!), hub and I are big NCAA basketball fans (our team is Siena Saints), and we love Notre Dame NCAA football, too. Don't like NBA so much...I'm also a tennis and soccer fan, though not as much as I used to be. :X My dad loves F-1, so every once in a while I'll catch a couple minutes of a race. Not that into racing, though, unfortunately. :o/
Mmmm, sports....*drool*
