Okay, my little fang-friendly friends, are you ready for a sneak peek of the new season of True Blood? HBO has released a teaser in the form of the first eight minutes of episode one. Initially, they released a six minute preview...now we have a couple of extra minutes of True Blood madness!!!
If you haven't seen it, I think you might be in for something...well...fairytale-like...in a dark, twisted, True Blood way.
So, what do you think???
ooh it looks really interesting! now i'm wondering what will happen to the grandpa since he ate the fruit and jumped anyway. none of this happened inthe books!
ReplyDeleteNot my cup of tea. But to each his own.
ReplyDelete20 Something Virgin: That's the big cliffhanger question in my mind, too!
ReplyDeleteEva: :) It is one of those things you either love or hate. :)
Nope. Still can't work my head around the accent. I tried. I really did. But the fairy's accent didn't help. I got two minutes in, though. That's a record.
ReplyDeleteChanel: Seriously laughing over here. Hey, two minutes ain't bad! LOL
ReplyDeleteBlogger ate my first comment. I loved the trailer but it is SO far from the books. I guess that you have to keep it exciting...but that is REALLY different than the book!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for the start of this series that it isn't even funny...the only downside is that I don't have HBO so I have to wait until Monday and watch at work while the youngest naps. Oh well. Still so ready for the season to start.
I watched a couple of seasons and then I got tired of it. However i love reading reviews and what people usually have to say.
ReplyDeleteThe Fairy Queen said "the vampires nearly drank us to extinction". Hahaha, that's hilarious! I think most of the virgins in vampire movies are fake. What you do think, Miss Virgin?
ReplyDeleteHaving just finished her latest book "Dead Reckoning", I can't wait till it starts.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like that they are different to the books, otherwise I wouldn't be surprised :)
Trying to decide whether to watch your preview or not... GAH! I don't know! LOL!
Jewels: I love to see the twists and turns in this show! You never really know what to expect. So far, this looks like a really exciting beginning!!!!
ReplyDeletePorkStar: Season one was great, but season two really didn't work for me--I couldn't stand the Maryann character. Parts of season two were good, like with Godric, Eric, Jessica/Hoyt, etc. Season three was better than season two. I'm anxious to see what they're going to do with season 4. :)
GB: lol-Who would have thought vampires and fairies would be at odds? ;)
Hmm, I never really thought about the virgins in vampire movies being fake...although, virgins are a rather rare phenomenon these days--we are almost in the supernatural category. Would it then follow that since virgins exist, so does the vampire? Things to ponder... ;)
Alittlesprite: I like the surprises, too. Watch! Watch! lol HBO wouldn't have released it if they didn't want fans to watch! *said in singsong voice* ;)
