Dating Sucks...Oh, And New Harry Potter!!!

Dating is a boil on the butt of humanity. It's the hair wad clogging the drain, the monster under the bed.  Ever worn a pair of tall boots and had an insane foot itch? That's dating.

Oh, but a good date can be magical, you say? Well, I suppose it can be magical...as magical as any of the Unforgivable curses. Crucio!

Speaking of Unforgivable curses...how many of you are ready to see Voldemort taken down by one Harry Potter? Well, place an undetectable extension charm on your favorite bag, pack it full of spell books, and don't forget your wand as you make a date with the final Harry Potter film--a date that won't disappoint.

Prepare for the most incredible Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II movie trailer yet--people just can't stop watching it!

  1. Maybe you should try barefoot dating, Miss Virgin. Scratching itches is more satisfying than small talk.

  5. I've never read nor seen a Harry Potter movie. Just doesn't appeal to me, however I love True Blood which deals with magic in its own way. Less than a week until Season 4 starts!

  6. I’ve seen all the Harry Potter movie thus far, and the worst part about it is I don’t know why!

They really know how to hype the shit out of it, that’s got to be one of the best trailers ever.

  7. "dating is the boil on the butt of humanity". LOVE IT. So true! lol

And as soon as I'm in Redding after HP comes out, I'm so in the theater for it. Voldemort is going down.

Last movie I watched opening day (not midnight showing but still early 6am) on the Imax screen. AMAZING! So excited for this one! I hadn't seen this trailer yet so thanks for sharing.

PS...really not looking forward to Aragog's kids making a showing. *shiver*

  10. I have all 7 books, but have not seen any of the movies past "Goblet of Fire". Was a bit disappointed that Cris Columbus stopped directing the films.

  13. OT: LOL--Love how you put things!

Anna: Let me guess--the part where Harry is in the woods with Sirius, him mum, dad, etc? That part got me. I'm so gonna cry during the film! I cried when Dobby died in the part one, so it's inevitable. lol

  14. I wasn't going to say anything, I was just going to read the post and not comment, 'cause that's what I do when I don't know about the subject - HP obviously, not dating, I do know remember something about dating, though it's kind of fuzzy right now....
So, even though I have never seen a HP movie nor read any of the books, I'm going to say it.....I can't stand Harry Potter or that bloody vampire. Actually, I can't stand the bloody vampire more than HP, enough with magic tricks and vampires, witches, wizards.....ok I'm going to shut up now.
    :)

  15. Alessandra: Aww, well, lol, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I love the story of Harry Potter, and True Blood is just sexy supernatural fun, but then I've always loved the fantasy/supernatural stuff. :)

  16. HP reminds us of all that we loved to read as kids! And, it's well written. Those two in one book (or series) is a rarity these days.

I haven't been on a date in over 10 years, but I will say I vaguely remember them as shudder fests. I would rather sit at home than go on a date. I only went out with Bud again after the first date cause he didn't try and molest me on the first one. And he smelled good and didn't say anything stupid.

  17. Not a Harry Potter fan, I admit it. Let's move on. Dating. Yeah, there's a subject I know all about! (said I, in a sarcastic voice!) It's like washing your hair, shampoo, rinse and the repeat, ad naseum. Unless you're lucky. :)

  19. I guess I'm just an old fuddy, duddy. Not a Harry Potter Fan, not a Twilight Series fan. But I have read nearly every Robert Ludlom book and every Janet Evanovich book...

  20. ms. caboo: Completely agree with on HP. :) And big LOL with the dating--you're so right!

Yvonne: Dating really is like a broken record. :P

Lex: YOU'RE BACK!!! YAY! I'm excited and sad, too. I don't want it to end!

Eva: You're not a fuddy, duddy! The Bourne novels and Plum books are great!
